Who the hell is Alex Furlin?
Alex hails from the suburbs of northern Illinois and oscillates frequently between Los Angeles and Chicago. His strengths lie in copywriting, narrative screenplays, joke writing, satire, and long-form nonfiction content.
Alex has had the good fortune of being able to study and work under some of the brightest minds in comedy today, from the original (good) editorial staff of Cracked.com, the iO Chicago and iO West improv comedy communities, the writing staff of The Onion, and as a writer’s assistant working under Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch in developing a new series for Netflix Animation.
Hmm, do you even want to know anything else about him? He is one of those annoying guys who practices mindfulness meditation, will listen to a single song 500 times in a row, and is trying to cut as much meat out of his diet as he can, but Korean BBQ is too good to rule out forever.
